Take the R 516 Warmbaths/Settlers off ramp - go left - follow the signs to Warmbaths. (Note there is another turnoff before this one that says Warmbaths, Settlers, Codrington - Do not take this turnoff)
At the T-Junction turn right.
Go over bridge - straight after the bridge go left.
At the next t-Junction go left into Voortrekker Road.
At the circle - take the Rooiberg / Thabazimbi Road - The R516
Travel about 32 km - At the Mabula Store take the Diepdrift turnoff to your right. Travel up this dirt road for 8,5km
At the fourway junction - turn to your left to Rhenosterkloof - 9 km
At the Junction turn to your left - Etango's gates are 3 km down this road on your left.
IMPORTANT NOTICE : GPS Co-Ordinates when used will take you to a road that has been closed for the last 20 years and you will have to turn back. It lengthens your trip to Etango by about 50km. If you want to use your GPS only do so to as far as the R516 - 32 kms outside of Bela-Bela (Warmbaths) and then refer to this map and make sure that you take the Diepdrift turnoff, which is about 200m before the Mabula turnoff. For people that still require them they are:
